As you all know, I’m absolutely in love with my puppy Stella! She actually isn’t a “puppy” anymore, she’s almost 4 years old! My family also has the very loud but sweet German Shepherd mix, Sushi. ”The Girls” waited very patiently while I attempted to make my first batch of homemade doggie treats!
I think I needed to bake these in the oven for just a few more minutes, but they turned out super smelly (great for “high value” training treats!) and the girls LOVED it!
If you can get past smelling the tuna, give it a try… it was so easy!
Homemade Tuna Dog Treats
Ingredients:
1 Can Tuna (in water, don’t drain!)
2 Eggs
1 1/2 cups Flour
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350.
2. Combine tuna and eggs in a food processor. Add the flour slowly and pulse until crumbly.
3. Put the mixture in a baking dish coated with cooking spray. Gently press down on the mixture to even out. Bake for 5-10 minutes or until set. Let cool for 15 minutes and cut into small squares.
You can store these in the refrigerator for a week or in the freeze for three months!

That’s awesome! My pup loved these treats… I haven’t tried to make her dinner yet… what have you tried?
