Hey everyone!  My name is Beth and I LOVE food!  Growing up, I spent most of my evenings in the kitchen with my Mom, helping her create delicious concoctions for my family’s dinner.  Every night she made at least two variations of the same meal, always accommodating everyone’s tastes and requests- but more on that later.  Unfortunately for my wallet, I have also inherited my parents’ love for dining out and knack for finding the latest and greatest new restaurants.  Even more detrimental to my bank account than eating out is my absolute love for travel.  I want to go everywhere and anywhere, and just don’t understand why someone from one of the cable channels won’t just pay me to travel and eat while traveling.  Why hasn’t this happened yet?

Until Anthony Bourdain discovers what his show is missing (me, duh), I will have to settle with the adventures I can create on my own, and of course my kitchen endeavors in-between.  This blog is a collection of stories from my travel, delicious meals I’ve eaten at restaurants, and the recipes I’ve made in my own kitchen.  Enjoy, and feel free to contact me if you have any comments or questions!
